[Mirabel wasn't sure what to expect when she found the cute basket. But when she looks through it, she's in awe of how incredibly sweet this gift is. She's had a rough couple of days - the transformation hurt (though hurt less thanks to her uncle), and she's been dealing with awful thoughts about her new monster form.

This was the pick-me-up she desperately needed. Her birthday... she nearly forgot about it.

After reading the letter, she tears up. Tears fall down her face, but she's not... unhappy.
